नशेड़ी वोटरों को रोकने के लिए ब्रीथ एनालाइजर लगाए (Add Breath Analyzer to prevent intoxicated voters)

                   मतदान का सामान्य अर्थ है निर्णय लेना, अपनी राय, सलाह या विचार रखना। हमारे लोकतंत्र में मतदान का विशेष महत्व है क्योंकि मतदाता अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करके सरकार बना सकता है अथवा सरकार गिरा सकता भी है मतदाता ही राष्ट्र का भाग्य विधाता होता है क्योंकि इनके द्वारा चुने हुए जन प्रतिनिधि ही राष्ट्र को अपनी सेवाएं समर्पित करते हैं। यदि  मतदाताओं द्वारा गलत जन प्रतिनिधियों का चयन हो जाता हैं तो ऐसे में राष्ट्र का पिछड़ना तय हैं। इसलिए निर्वाचन आयोग की जिम्मेदारी है की वह निष्पक्ष और स्वतंत्र मतदान कराये साथ ही नशेड़ी वोटरों को वोट देने से भी रोके क्योंकि नशे में व्यक्ति की मानसिक स्थिति ठीक नहीं होती हैं और वह मतदान का सदुपयोग करने में कदापि सक्षम नहीं हो सकता। इसलिए हाल ही में नशे में धुत वोटरों को वोट देने से रोकने के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक जनहित याचिका दाखिल हुई है जिसमें मतदान केंद्रों पर ब्रीथ एनालाइजर लगाने की मांग की गई है ताकि नशे में धुत मतदाताओं को वोट डालने से रोका जा सके। यह याचिका चेन्नई के गैरसरकारी संगठन ने लगाई है। यदि सुप्रीम कोर्ट अपना फैसला इस गैरसरकारी संगठन के पक्ष में देता है तो निश्चित ही मतदान वाले दिन कोई भी मतदाता नशा नहीं करेगा और जो नशा करेगा उसे अपने मताधिकार से वंचित होना पड़ेगा। जो कि लोकतंत्र के हित में ही होगा।

          Voting generally means making decisions, giving opinions, advice or opinions. In our democracy, voting has special importance because the voter can use his franchise to form a government or can even decline the government, the voter is the destiny of the nation because only the elected public representatives dedicate their services to the nation. If the wrong public representatives are selected by the voters, then the country is bound to fall behind. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the Election Commission to conduct fair and free voting as well as prevent the drunk voters from voting because the drunk person's mental condition is not correct and he / she may never be able to use the vote properly. Therefore, recently a Public Interest Litigation has been filed in the Supreme Court to stop intoxicated voters from voting, asking to install Breath Analyzer at polling stations to prevent intoxicated voters from casting their votes. This petition has been filed by the Chennai-based NGO. If the Supreme Court gives its verdict in favor of this non-governmental organization, then surely on the polling day, no voter will get intoxicated and whoever gets intoxicated will have to be deprived of their franchise. Which will only be in the interest of democracy.
